Interviews with vsNEW participants, founders, and advocates provide insights in to the exciting opportunities provided by this program. The Victoria Symphony New Explorations Workshop (vsNEW) gives young composers the opportunity to create new music for symphony musicians under the mentorship of a professional composer. Participants have the opportunity to connect with peers and professionals, develop their creative skills, and hear their music come to life in a culminating performance and recording of their new work.
