Steven Page, vocalist
Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Steven Page is one of the country’s most recognizable and enduring voices. A co-founder, vocalist, and songwriter for Barenaked Ladies, he helped create iconic hits including “Brian Wilson,” “If I Had a Million Dollars,” and “It’s All Been Done.” With the band, he sold over 15 million albums and earned multiple JUNO, Billboard, and SOCAN Awards, along with two GRAMMY nominations.
Since launching his solo career in 2009, Page has released five albums, most recently Excelsior (2022), and continues to tour extensively across Canada and the U.S., from intimate venues to major stages, including appearances with The Who and Billy Bragg. He frequently performs with The Steven Page Trio, featuring Craig Northey (Odds) and cellist Kevin Fox.
Page has performed arrangements of some of his best-loved songs from his long career with orchestras including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Symphony New Brunswick.
Along with Chris Murphy (Sloan), Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), and Craig Northey (Odds), he makes up a quarter of The Trans-Canada Highwaymen, whose first album of Canadian covers, Explosive Hits Vol. 1, was released in 2023.
A passionate mental health advocate, Page has been in demand as a public speaker since 2011, sharing his own story with audiences across North America.
