Annabelle Stanley is the Victoria Symphony’s Principal Harpist. In addition to her work with the Orchestra and Opera she teaches Harp at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and UVIC.

She was born and raised in Victoria and during the course of her long career has been featured as a Soloist with the Orchestra and in collaboration with her colleagues on tour and at home. During this year of hiatus from a busy Orchestral Season Annabelle has been expanding her solo harp repertoire. Her program “Art of The Harp” features music by French composers from the 16th to the 20th Century, typically preformed in an elegant French Salon setting.

The Victoria Symphony performs on the traditional lands of the Lekwungen peoples and acknowledges with respect the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continues to this day. We extend our appreciation for the opportunity to live, create, and perform on this territory.
