DESCRIPTION:Even as a fledgling conductor\, a 16-year-old Christian Kluxen was already taken with Tchaikovsky’s music. Its mix of romantic beauty with bittersweet melancholy pairs well with Barber’s Violin Concerto\, especially as interpreted by the internationally-renowned\, Victoria-born violinist\, Timothy Chooi.
