announces the following vacancy for 2023/24 Season:

SECOND FLUTE / PICCOLO

International auditions will be held in the fall of 2023. Further details will be available soon.

Salary & Benefits:

• 2023/24
  • 36 week season at $1,115.04/week
  • 8% EPW Pension
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Services requiring piccolo qualify for an additional 50% of the contracted per service rate

Second Flute – Audition – Repertoire List

The musicians of the Victoria Symphony are Canadian members of the American Federation of Musicians.

This audition is open only to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents at this time. Candidates may be required to show proof of Canadian Citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada.

The audition committee reserves the right to dismiss, at any time during the audition procedure, any candidate who does not meet the required standards of the Victoria Symphony.
